ABOUT YOUR VISIT
Preparing for your appointment

Dr Aponso is pleased to see patients with spine or orthopaedic conditions, who have a referral from a general practitioner or medical specialist. Medicare stipulates that a referral from a general practitioner or a medical specialist is only valid for 12 months and 3 months respectively to be eligible to claim your rebate from Medicare.

The referral can be forwarded to Dr Aponso by your doctor or alternatively if you have the referral, please send it through together with the necessary paperwork when you contact to organise your appointment.
